single 10 gauge should be plenty you shouldn't have to run 2 parallel.

his reply is dead on. If you have a bad connection there the solenoid may not be getting enough voltage to activate the starter.

you might have a clog in the return line and its bulding to much pressure since the pump is running all the time the system delivers a lot of fuel way more that the engine needs at any time regulator ...

nope no other solenoids. The system consists of the starter and the voltage reg. So your problem and possibly the clicking you hear is the regulator in the alt..

there should be a slave solenoid before the starter that jumps power to the solenoid on the starter . I'll check the schematics and get back to you.

I agree with all the other bike riders and car enthusiasts too. Keep it in the lines or take it on the track before someone gets hurt. They were not driving that fast anyway.
