Looking at the parts diagram...at the pivot point....the front bushing is #12 93160311700 and the rear has two bushings #19 93160311901.

Then there's another #12 bushing on the alternator adjus ...

So how does one know when those bushings are going bad?

when your alternator pulley starts trying to make love to the back of your airbox when running

I bet that would make some noise. Luckily ...

Thank you Porsche Classic! 931 603 119 01 is the rubber bushing for the pivot mounting point on the 931 alternator, used to be NLA, two required, looks like it is once again available from the dealer! ...

I'm not an expert but recently installed a rebuilt G31 dog leg transaxle into my 931.

I believe that the 79 924 also has a dog leg transaxle, so I think they are similar...and have the same two rod ...

I replaced the brake master cylinder in my car recently. I didn't rebuild it, I bought one from FCP Euro. Not inexpensive but it worked as expected.
