That's a pretty penny.
If there are no negative effects (besides emmisions) to deleting the pump, that seems the route to go. Does anyone know if there are any ill effects of deleting it?

Okay, I do not believe it is the timing belt, and since there is no balance belt on this version of the 924 that rules that out as well. Here, I will upload some better pictures so yall can see better ...

Is that the airpump and not the camshaft sprocket?
If so, any clue why it would seize up then unseize after eating the teeth off my belt?
Also, why would one delete the airpump?

Perhaps, but even the drivers side fan only comes on when I jump the thermofan terminals when the car is on.

Okay... So I ran power directly from the battery, to each fan, they both work when powered directly from the battery. So that takes the fans themselves out of the picture, as the problem.
