This was extreamly helpful. Glad to know about the splines to that was also a big concern. I wanted to put a 5.3L in it, would the stock tranny hold that power?

Does the 944 transaxle bolt right up in a 924s? Should I change to the 944 axles with it? Does the drive shaft stay the same length?
