On euro cars the option codes can be found between the rear lights in the trunk (driver side). Its just a ordinary sticker with info.

Paint codes is also a sticker, under the hood by the windscreen ...

I think in a good replacement and upgrading of the fan, you can install a high flow CFM fan..12 blades i think. They use less energy and give you more CFM.

Cost will be arround 180-200$ i think.

You can adjust the valves. Check also the CO level, it should be arround 2 / 2,5 % (a euro 924 runs great on that value).
