Got it moving under it's own power again!
Still have to set the timing with the timing light. But starting and idling and moving on it's own hasn't happened in a long time so...

Yea, that throttle lever stop is way out of whack.
I'm sure it was being used to adjust the idle.

Re-timed the cam, using the mark on the back, and got it started up!

It wouldn't idle without giving it throttle, and I couldn't get it started again once I shut it off.

Smoothie- I may have the wrong timing mark on the cam, I used the dot on the front of the gear to line up. Didn't know about the mark on the back.

You should be able to find a whole rear hatch, there have been loads of them at the Hershey swap meet in the last few years. It shouldn't be too hard to track one down in CA.

It's great to hear about somebody else autocrossing, I'm still working the bugs out of my '77 before I try it with the PCA this summer.
