+1 with the idle time. I replaced the bushings in my turbo 4yrs 50000 miles ago and have had no issues. I always let the car Idle 3-5 mins after driving. This can be annoying if you are in a hurry but ...

I had good results with mine, new bushings,had hotside crack welded,I drilled out coked up oil journals. Marked everything beforehand and worked carefully. almost 2yrs and 13000 miles good so far.

I had my cracked housing welded when I replaced the bushings. That was 10000 miles ago, so far no issues. The welder was very experienced, and knew what he was doing. I'm sure more have done the same. ...
