So, does anyone happen to have a spare fuel-filler? Mine is totally shot and the inlet is rusty and corroded to hell and back. Which is probably making it difficult to find a cap that fits anyway.

Have this one FS. It may have been off my 82 924 parts car .
My 1979 uses the old-style big caps without the little door. I don't think this one would fit. |

So is the clutch cable adjusted to spec?
Unsure - haven't checked.
I do know that the shift bushing/coupling was replaced and is installed correctly and I replaced the gear oil with Sta-Lube GL5 ... |

Brian, if the grinding is an issue only when selecting second gear, the problem is almost certainly due to a severely worn synchro for that gear.
