I believe the '79 has an "x" connection - front rt. with rear left and visa versa

I replaced the rubber with the braided hoses - I think a year or 2 ago - does not mean it could not fail - I had hoped at the time that it would be better. I will try the other thing ... |

how bad/involved is that? would it have to come all the way out or just lowered a little?
