the rover and hte porsche used the same spline drive so thats no help, the PO probably just slapped it in there, if you have the RV8 bellhousing welded to a plate then you can use a 3.0 AP capri clutc ...

944 rear end is the way to go, a turbo would be better but use the 944 ring for better ratio, then if you get an LSD unit it has a cooler on it. Thats what I did, good engine choice LOL
