| Take the gauge cluster out and clean all the connectors. Also do the same on the temp sender connections. Mine did the same for a while, I had no idea if they car was overheating or not! |

If it's revving just for a moment after starting (using the extra Cold Start Valve fuel) then struggling for the next 10-20 seconds before dying, then the mixture is too lean for some reason.

Sounds like you might know where the issue is.
Check the LT voltage at the coil - 12v
Then check the coil is working by popping a spark plug on the end that goes the distributor cap

yup, you have to pry that cup out, behind it is the screw
