Seem to have found the problem - seems to be the ignition switch, wiggle the key and it comes back on.
Also noticed that when the dash is off so is the sunroof motor and a couple of other items. |

| Have you had any luck getting it back mate? Might be worth sending the pic and info to any independant porsche places in the region, they'll be more likely to spot it if it's out on the roads. |

Both!
Was a short on the original engine that got trashed and a long on the (newer) replacement engine. Car is a 78, replacement motor came out of, i think a 1980. |

Only thing I found when I had mine replaced was that the company were a bit cagey about replacing on such an old car in case the aperture was corroded.
